H.S.I aims at providing access to sustainable health and sanitation facilities, to improve nutritional outcomes by undertaking micro analysis of the problems related to mal nourishment, under and over nutrition and come out with an in-depth strategy for course correction. Special focus is given to pregnant and lactating mothers, pre, post and neo-natal care. Other works include organising awareness generation drives in the form of Padyatra, Cycle Rallys and Nukkad Nataks for water conservation, construction and use of bio-toilets etc.
